1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using pl8list, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our service.

2. Service Description

pl8list is a platform that enables users to securely share and sell music. We provide tools for music file sharing, distribution, and monetization, including watermarking technology and payment processing.

3. Account Terms

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old to create an account
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account
  • Notify us of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Content Ownership and Rights

You retain all rights to your content. By uploading content, you:

  • Warrant that you own or have rights to share the content
  • Grant us license to store and distribute your content according to your settings
  • Accept that we may apply watermarking technology to protect your content
  • Understand that unauthorized distribution is prohibited

5. Payment Terms

For paid content:

  • We charge a 10% platform fee on all transactions
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Sellers receive payouts according to our payment schedule
  • All prices must be set in accordance with our pricing guidelines
  • All sales are final. Digital music files are considered consumed upon download and are not eligible for refunds

6. Gift Cards

pl8list gift cards are subject to the following terms:

  • Gift cards do not expire and have no fees
  • Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by law
  • Gift card balances can only be used for purchases on pl8list
  • Lost or stolen gift card codes cannot be replaced
  • Gift cards are not reloadable
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel gift card purchases if fraud is suspected

7. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Share content you don't have rights to
  • Circumvent our security or watermarking features
  • Use the service for illegal activities
  • Harass or harm other users
  • Attempt to access unauthorized areas of the service
  • Redistribute, resell, or publicly share music files acquired on pl8list without explicit permission from the rights holder

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may terminate your account at any time. Upon termination:

  • Access to your account will cease
  • Your content will be handled according to our data retention policy
  • Outstanding payments will be processed

9. Warranties and Liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
